Another Record Breaking Concert

Sarah's concert last Saturday at the Araneta Coliseum was entitled RECORD BREAKER and I can really tell that she did break another record. I watched all her concerts in the same venue and the last was the best so far. Tickets were sold out, jam packed talaga ang Araneta. Even the stairs on the upper and lower box were occupied.

Sarah started the concert by singing and dancing the record breaker remix followed by Lady Gaga's Love Game and Black Eyed Peas' I Gotta Feeling (Tonight's Gonna Be A Good Night).

Sarah's repertoire was good. She also some cuts in her new album Music and Me like Right Here Waiting For You. After singing that song she said, "Kung sino ka man, dumating ka na. Joke lang po! pwedeng half-meant, ha-ha-ha," then everybody was laughing out loud.

She also performed Sa Iyo, the R&B version. Ayos palang gumiling si Sarah heheh.

Well-applauded naman ang ginawang tribute ni Sarah for the King of Pop na si Michael Jackson when she sang MJ's songs like One Day In You Life, Ben and I'll Be There (damn, her falsetto in I'll Be There was superb). She also performed They Really Don't Care About Us with fireworks effect, well-deserved for the standing ovation.

Another highlight of the concert was when Sarah went down to her audience and approached Regine Velasquez while singing You Changed My Life. "Salamat po, Ms. Reg, pinapanood mo ako ngayon," she said. Regine gave Sarah her pearl necklace and you can see on the monitor that both of them were teary eyed. Sabi ng iba, simbolo daw ito ng pagpapasa ni Regine ng korona kay Sarah. The scene was heart-warming indeed. No wonder why Sarah is so blessed because she doesn't forget to thank those people that helped her.

I also love the part where they flashed her achievements on screen that includes P400 Million gross of her two movies, four times sold out concert at the big dome, and other major awards.

Everyone was laughing again when Sarah approached Mommy Del Rosario, Boss Vic's mom. They were chatting for like 5 minutes or so na akala mo walang concert. ‘Yun pala, pinaalalahanan ni Mommy del Rosario si Sarah na huwag muna raw itong makikipag-boyfriend.

“May secret kami ni Mommy! Opo, ‘wag muna…mga ilang taon pa mommy? Two years pa po? Promise Mommy, hanggang crush lang ako. Opo, natatandaan ko po lagi. Career muna bago lovelife! Papayaman muna ko, kami ni Boss Vic! Ha! Ha! Ha!” say ni Sarah.

Before ending the concert, Sarah thanked everyone again.

Kapag nakikita ko kayo, naiisip ko, I must have done something good to deserve all these.”

She sang The Climb by Miley Cyrus ah her finale and we gave her standing ovation.

The concert was really fun and worth the money that I spent. It started a little late kasi kahit standing na lang marami pa ring bumibili sa labas.
Si Sarah Geronimo na nga ang bagong Concert Queen! She deserves the title. Yun lang! Ü
